angel baby

It is really quite challenging to do these lil faces. This is a commissioned gift for a young woman who recently lost her baby. I actually received an order for TWO babies. The other mother lost her baby about 15 years ago. I wanted to make them smooth and fit in the palm (or pocket) like a worry stone.I have a LOT more time on the second baby so I will see if I can really detail out the wings. I think I might be wise to mold these babies. (grin)
She is about 3 inches long. The second one is twice as big (so far). I am using glasses from the drug store, even had to upgrade to 1.5's.

(chuckle ;)

Hi Donna,

Thanks for stopping by. I'm glad you enjoy some of the same things I do... :)

You brought up a good question about pricing your work although I have to say, I don't think I am qualified to answer as I don't have experience selling yet. I'll put it out there on my blog though, see if we can't get a discussion going.

:)

Yes Jeanne. I decided to make a couple of extra babies. Would you like one? (oh boy!) As I type that, I wonder if someone has had a loss. I sure hope not. So sad to lose a baby. I will email you.
